The Lake Michigan Watershed Academy is comprised of participants from the 10 Regional Planning Commissions that serve within the Lake Michigan Basin. The Watershed Academy provides participants with the opportunity to share their work, experience, and ideas on regional issues of importance to Lake Michigan and the Lake Michigan Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP). As a result, Regional Planning Commissions are better equipped to conduct outreach and distribute information to local constituencies and make planning decisions that improve the ecosystem health of Lake Michigan  For information on the Watershed Academy, please contact the Academy Facilitator, the Delta Institute, at 312-554-0900.
