Develop and implement planning programs and projects such as watershed and sustainable communities planning, transportation, energy efficiency and conservation, solid waste, sustainable business practices. In general: write various grants, administration of programs, develop plans, policies and educational documents; organize, and convene and facilitate workshops, conferences, and meetings.

Other Lake Projects Patty is Involved With

Facilitate and coordinate three Michigan designated Heritage Route Committees all bordering Lakes Michigan; developed regional non-motorized transportation strategy for 13 counties in northwest, lower Michigan; watershed management education: green infrastructure planning, joint planning for Lake Michigan, local government recreation plans, developed Natural Hazard Mitigation plans for each county, longtime member of the Lake Michigan Lakewide Management process. Creator and coordinator of the Northwest Michigan Sustainable Business Forum that provides workshops and events. Coordinator of green energy teams at local governments (20); solid waste management and coordinator of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.
