High School: Pathways to Purpose & Self-Advocacy
Our high school program is designed to be a launchpad. We provide a flexible, “high-support, high-expectation” environment that prepares students for the transition to adulthood with confidence.
- The Hybrid Advantage: High schoolers can choose between a Full-Time Program at LMA or a Part-Time Program. This allows students to take their core specialized classes with us while pursuing electives at their local high school, an ISD campus (like Kent Career Tech Center/KCTC), or through Dual Enrollment at a community college.
- Real-World Application: Through work-based learning and advanced Project-Based Learning, students apply their knowledge to real-life scenarios, ensuring they are “career-ready” and “college-ready.”
- Mastering Self-Advocacy: Our seniors graduate as experts on their own minds. They leave LMA knowing exactly what accommodations they need to succeed in higher education or the workforce and, more importantly, how to ask for them.
