Michigan’s Safe Storage Laws
At Lake Michigan Academy, the safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff is our highest priority. In compliance with Michigan state requirements, we are sharing important information regarding Michigan’s Safe Storage Laws.
Under Michigan law, if minors may be present on a property, all firearms must be stored in a locked box or container, or kept unloaded and secured with a locking device (such as a cable or trigger lock).
