Phonological Awareness Training
Phonological awareness is the ability to identify and manipulate segments of oral language such as words, syllables and phonemes. Many researchers agree on the importance of phonological awareness and its relationship to reading and spelling success.
In this 2 hour course, trainees will learn about phonological awareness, how to assess it and how to provide remediation to students through leveled activities.
Course includes the Phonological Awareness For All Ages manual and hands-on manipulatives.
